Travel, planned around the table.
I'm Catherine, also known as Travel Advisor Cat, a travel advisor who builds trips around the meals, wines, hidden adventures and and unmarked doors that make a place unforgettable. If it's on your list, I probably already know where you should eat.
The Difference
Anyone can send you a hotel link. What you can't Google is which restaurant changed chefs last spring, which wine region is worth the detour, the hotel group aligned with the restaurant, or which reservation needs a real connection to get.
Through my network of Fora colleagues I have thousands of relationships with hotels and travel partners to take you beyond just landing and lounging.
-
Every itinerary I build starts with the same question: Where should you eat, and what should you drink while you're there? Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, small plate and omnivores - all are welcome!
-
The hotels, the pacing, the side quests, the logistics- all get built individually around you and your interests.
-
From stunning villas and five-star hotels to a specific needed location fir an event, I match the perfect place for you to unwind and indulge.
-
Enjoy priority access, private tours, and unique activities that add a special touch to your journey.
Where I Know Best
Mexico — I was raised going to visit my grandparents in Manzanillo each year, and kept visiting all over to see town plazas, market stalls, and found tequila worth the trip alone.
France — Beyond Paris, I’ve sought which wine regions are worth a detour, and those out of the way bistros that you can’t find on the "top 10" lists. I spent a milestone birthday at Julia Child’s house. What a memory!
Spain — I have favorite stand-up tapas and pintxos bars with no menu and no English, show you the ones worth learning to love, and can tell you customs to have you looking local.
New York City — In this city, there are reservations that need a real connection to be made, not just an app click.
California — I’m always finding chef driven menus, locavore purveyor relationships, and small-production wineries you may need an introduction to get into.
How It Works
Tell me about your trip. A short intake, then a call to get aligned on vision and budget.
I build the plan. Restaurants, wine, logistics — researched and reasoned, with options and transparent pricing.
You just show up. I handle the bookings, the details, and I'm there if anything comes up on the ground.
A Note From Cat:
I got into this business because "Hey, Cat, Where should we go eat?" is the question people ask me more than almost any other, and it's my favorite one to answer. If you want a trip that's been carefully considered, individually tailored to you, the occasion, and your taste, not just pulled from some top 10 list, I'd love to help.
